Have you tried Woobles? I haven’t, and likely never will. Here’s why:
🧶 Generic patterns and instructions with similar or better FREE versions online
🧶 Price of one kit = multiple projects’ worth of material
🧶 The ā€œpre-started yarnā€ lends more to instant gratification than to learning a vital technique that helps you grow BEYOND Woobles. Does the kit include instructions and alternatives for magic circles? Also, how does the company ā€œpre-startā€ the yarn in bulk? Is it done by hand, and if so, by whom?
Woobles’ appeal is convenience. I’d personally only recommend them as gifts, or for noncrocheters to test the craft without much commitment. That isn’t to say there aren’t people who appreciate these kits; however, I generally wouldn’t recommend Woobles for beginners greatly interested in pursuing crochet further, or as practice for crocheters above beginner level.
This is my opinion and is not meant to disparage the creators, employees, or customers of Woobles. I’m happy for every crocheter, old and new, and would love to hear about your experience!! At the end of the day, it’s about self satisfaction - if you are crafting happily and responsibly, then Wooble on, my friend.

Sometimes I start projects spontaneously and then just have to muscle through to the end. I began working on this sweater vest while I was traveling in England.
I’ll post the finished product here when I’m done, pattern is by https://www.instagram.com/the.creabea?igsh=MW9oY2NrdXo2ZmxwdA==

Would you consider making a blorbo crochet pattern (I can't remember off the top of my head if you even crochet. If you don't, I'm sorry!) I just got back into crochet and I fucking need it so badly thank you.
I do crochet! I don't do it much anymore, but a blorbo would not be difficult to crochet at all, I should be able to make a pattern for one pretty quickly, sometime this week maybe?

Does anyone within the USA need a sewing machine?
It’s a Pfaff 1122. Works like new, all parts included with pedal and manual.
I only used it a few times in college for my design course. The cover has some dust I tried to clean as good as possible but the actual machine is like new.
Please direct message me! $120 plus shipping. Or I can work with your offer.

I finished my first cross stitch! My mom gave me a beginners kit for Christmas and I really enjoyed the process. My thousands of hours of picross were all in preparation for cross stich
The pattern (and the instructions that came with it) really was perfect for beginner-beginner, so I took photos and put them below the cut if anyone is interested in them

Am I overreaching for the first sweater I plan on making???kind of yeah. But I need a bigger size since I'm both fat and have sensory issues so I need the end project to be big enough for it to not touch my body too much. I'm thinking of making changes to a pattern I found that has like 5 different sizes so technically if I do the math I should be able to increase it by another 2 or 3 sizes right?? Length isn't the issue the width is but I thunk I can pull it off....I'll figure it out. Hopefully.
I do anyway plan to try and make one of those hats before I start a full on sweater but I wanna have the calculations done so I can buy yarn before I go home in a week.
